Jason Abraham Roberts is an American musician. He is best known for his work (primarily on electric guitar) with Norah Jones[1][2], The Pierces[3], Hymns[4], Ben Kweller[5] and The Candles[6]. He has also toured and recorded with other artists such as Tracy Bonham[7], The Redwalls[8], +/- and Phenomenal Handclap Band[9]. Jason was also a member of Daniel Johnston's[10] backing band during 2009 and 2010.

Jason moved from North Carolina to New York City in 2003 to work at the Magic Shop Recording Studio in SoHo. He started playing guitar and keyboards professionally upon meeting Ben Kweller at The Living Room in 2004. Ben was about to embark on a world tour supporting his new record, On My Way, and was looking for a new guitarist.

Jason is a founding member of the country-rock band, HYMNS[11]. His discography includes Brother/Sister, Travel in Herds and Appaloosa as well as two records by folk artist, Anthony D'Amato[12] - Down Wires and Paper Back Bones. He has played guitar, keyboards, bass, banjo and percussion and has received production and mixing credits on several records.

Jason is currently Norah Jones'[13] guitarist and backing vocalist. They are touring in support of her new album, Little Broken Hearts, throughout 2012. [edit]
