Classroom Management
[edit]In order to successfully implement a flipped classroom, there is a prerequisite for teachers to possess an effective classroom management procedure. By creating routines regarding homework, classroom participation, and behavioral norms, teachers are able to help students know what to expect when they enter the classroom. This is essential for flipped classrooms as much of the work is completed at home such as readings or online lessons and/or discussions. Furthermore, clear expectations needs to be in place in such a learner-centered model. [1]
