He has served in Christian ministry since 1977 in a variety of capacities. Leaders and organizations come together from all spheres of society and all geographic regions of the world. The first call2all Congress was held in January, 2008, designed to strengthen the partnership among Christian leaders to finish the task Jesus gave us. The vision began catching fire among leaders all around the world. The call2all Movement together with its partners has brought together 28,000 leaders representing more than 1,400 organizations.
call2all is About...
Call2all is a partnership of hundreds of the top missions agencies, denominations, and organizations in the world, including tens of thousands of Christian leaders, all working together and strategizing to complete the Great Commission in our generation. Working together we accomplish what could not be finished if we all act alone.
Finishing the Great Commission
As many top Christian leaders across the world have testified: they believe the Great Commission can be completed in our Generation. There is also an unprecedented unity emerging, where organizations, denominations, agencies and individuals are beginning to work together like never before.
Engaging Christian Leaders
In the last two years top Christian leaders have met on all continents strategizing together on what it will take to complete the Great Commission. Call2All facilitates this through Global Congresses, round-table discussion, fostering relationships and strategies to develop relationships amongst Christian leaders.
Drawing Together the Global Church
The Call2All movement has grown over the last two years to include thousands of different ministries and organizations around the world.
Network and Training
The purpose of Call2All is not to replace existing ministry but to network, train and focus the body of Christ to fulfill the Great Commission. In Matthew 28 we have the command of Jesus “to go and make disciples of all nations.” Discipling nations must include evangelism, but it is a lot more. Because of this, Call2All has formed networks in every sphere of society and special affinity networks. Different spheres of society face different challenges. Call2All Networks seek to meet these needs by fostering effective co-operation and community across the globe
Strategy and Action
By strategizing and working together, we prevent duplication and find out where best to focus our efforts. Strategy leads to action – prayerful, considered commitments are made at every Congress to reach new goals – in the form of evangelism goals, church planting, oral bibles teams sent, houses of prayer established, Unengaged unreached people groups committed to.
Reaching Into All Spheres of Society
To disciple a nation means to reach into all the spheres of society: family, church, education, business, science, government and media. Missions is being re-defined as going and reaching everyone in every culture, in every society, everywhere.
Equipping the Next Generation
It is now time to include the next generation. There’s a growing move of God among the young in the world. Much of the energy is coming from the global surge of prayer. God is preparing a new breed that will do great exploits in the coming years.
Call2All ascribes to the Lausanne Covenant on world evangelization.
History
In early August they were in Holland as part of the Amsterdam 2000 World Conference of Evangelists sponsored by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. A little over 10,000 evangelists were present, representing many nations of the world. Steve and Mark were part of a working group that had been selected from around the world. Six hundred had gathered around small tables to discuss one question, “What would it take to complete the Great Commission?” Day after day they dealt with how to solve the greatest challenges we face in missions.
On the third day of the gathering they looked at a list of 252 untargeted, unreached people groups. These were large ethnic groups that had never been engaged with the Gospel in all of church history. The leaders present were asked to “adopt” one or more groups. The first 140 groups were adopted quickly by various organizations represented in the room. But the second half of the list – the most difficult to reach – were not being adopted. The room had grown silent and no one was moving. This is when Dr. Douglass leaned over and asked Mark the question, 'Why don’t our two organizations, Campus Crusade for Christ and YWAM, adopt the rest?'
Mark tells us what happened next:
With my mind spinning, thinking about what this might mean, I agreed. This is when a whole new adventure began and my life in missions would be forever changed. Shortly after Amsterdam, Steve and I began to meet with a select group of leaders who we would work together with in reaching the targeted people groups. We called ourselves Table 71, the table number we sat at on that important day in Amsterdam.
Another key piece began two years later when Dr. Bill Bright began the Global Pastors Network. He envisioned the pastors of the world coming together, working on finishing the Great Commission. Through a series of unexpected events I became the president of the Global Pastors Network in January 2007. As I assumed this new role it became clear that the vision of GPN needed to be expanded. We needed not only the religious leaders to work together in strategic unity; we had to call Christian leaders from all spheres of society to join in this major task. This gave birth to call2all in May 2007.
It was in early 2007 that I had a major encounter with the Lord. In a 6 hour time of personal shaking and sovereign illumination, God made the vision for call2all very clear. At one point in this encounter, the Lord spoke the following, ‘The time has come for the Son of God to be glorified’. This is out of John 17:1, the unity chapter. The assignment from heaven for the call2all Movement was clear: we were to help the global body of Christ come into strategic unity with heaven to reveal Jesus on the earth, leading to the completion of the Great Commission.
Thus, the first call2all Congress was held in January, 2008, designed to strengthen the partnership among Christian leaders to finish the task Jesus gave us. The vision began catching fire among leaders all around the world. The call2all Movement together with its partners has brought together 28,000 leaders representing more than 1,400 organizations.

Loren Cunningham, Founder, Youth With A Mission
Loren Cunningham (Founder of YWAM) posed the question “can we finish the task?” Through a series of testimonies of what God is doing all over the world, he answered the question by saying “the whole world could be reached in our life time. I consider Call2All one of the significant moves of God in our lifetime. The Call2All Congresses are way more than events, they are strategy meetings where we have deep encounters with the Lord. In more than 50 years of ministry, I have never seen all of these groups together in such a way. In my view, the Call2All movement will be of historic proportions and affect missions throughout the world."
Steve Douglass, President of Campus Crusade For Christ International
Steve Douglass in response to the question, "Can the Great Commission be fulfilled in our lifetime?" Steve Douglass said: “Absolutely, the Great Commission can be fulfilled in our lifetimes; from the way God is moving today, even without some terrific eye of faith, I have been persuaded it will be fulfilled in our lifetimes and I personally think in the next decade.”
Jack Hayford, President, Foursquare Church
"I knew from our first meetings that this partnership would be more than just a cohort of like-minded leaders who hoped to make a difference in our world. It has grown into one of the most embracing missional partnerships representing the diversity of the Body of Christ in church history."
Luis Palau, World Evangelist
"It is a a privilege for me to be part of the Call2All Congress, only when we come together can we complete what Jesus commanded."
