Career
[edit]Jarvis first achieved on screen recognition at the age of 11 when he played Young Stuart Nicklin in the Sky Television Drama Thorne Scaredycat (2010)[1], starring David Morrissey, Aidan Gillen and Eddie Marsan. Morrissey produced the series himself after enjoying the books, he then researched the author, Mark Billingham, and found that he had said, “If the books ever came to the screen, I couldn’t think of anybody better than David Morrissey to play the role of Tom Thorne.” [2] After a few years spent learning his craft Jarvis returned to screens in the U.K. playing the role of Ryan in the popular children's television program Dixi(2015). He then played Lord Darnley in the Spanish mini-series Reinas (2016). His short film Colours (2015), in which he played the lead role of Adam, gained popularity quickly after winning the 2016 Camelot International Film Festival and the Los Angeles Cinefest as well as achieving official selection for many more. He played Vampire Boy in Spaceship 2015 and worked alongside award winning director Alex Taylor. In 2016/17 Jarvis filmed 2 Hrs a family thriller in which he played the lead, The Dare a horror/thriller where he worked alongside Richard Brake, and a modern adaption of a A Midsummer Nights Dream with Robert Lindsay all of which are scheduled to be released in 2018. His most recent project is High Strung: Free Dance, which is set to be released in the summer of 2018, Jarvis plays an aspiring pianist alongside Juliet Doherty and Thomas Doherty, Jarvis learnt the piano in a month as preparation for this film and the release is highly anticipated.
Early Life
[edit]Jarvis fell in love with acting in Elementary school and performed in various school productions. As a child he attended the Royal Shakespeare Society in Twickenham and joined the Mary Wallace theatre as he moved into High School. He performed two productions including "Around the World in 8 Plays" in 2012 [3], this performance meant he became nominated for a Swan Award [4]. He then attended Tiffin High School from the age of 11 to the age of 18, where he achieved an A* in A level Theatre Studies as well as 2 A's in History and English Literature respectively. After graduation Jarvis began to pursue acting full time and instantly began work on A Midsummer Night's Dream.
