Option 1
[edit]- Article title
- Political globalization
- Article Evaluation
- Although the article is not directly relevant to the topic of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), it explains how political globalization looks at political systems, not putting much focus on issues in gender and gaps within politics. With this, I can expand on this concept and intertwine the two ideas to show the relation between topics. This article is written neutrally since claims are from reliable sources, which come from scholars, books, and research. It does not, however, talk about any of Wikipedia's equity gaps.

Option 2
[edit]- Article title
- Sex industry
- Article Evaluation
- This article talks about the sex industry and how this type of work is viewed for women. I would expand on how culture influences how women choose their occupations and trends in this area. The article does contain bias, stating how this type of work is exploitative and there are not citations for any claim. There are reliable sources in this article. I believe I can enhance this article, incorporating the education and cultural aspects of things and how better education and culture could lead to different outcomes women choose.

Option 3
[edit]- Article title
- Education
- Article Evaluation
- This article discusses education and some gender disparities within it. It is neutral and claims are mostly cited. References used are credible government, academic, and reliable organizations. It talks about education, so it does cover one of Wikipedia's equity gaps. In this article, I can talk about education in a sense where in some cultures, it is more accepted for men to get an education more than it is for women.

Option 4
[edit]- Article title
- Women's education in the United States
- Article Evaluation
- This article is about women's education, including how there are gender disparities in education. Although there is some bias, most of the article does not contain bias. There are not citations for every claim but the references used are credible, coming from government and historical references. The article does cover one of Wikipedia's equity gaps, the education of women. I would add to this article by including how culture and encouragement impacts a woman's education.

Option 5

- Culture
- Article Evaluation
- This article is about how culture influences what humans do and believe. The article is neutral and most claims are correctly referenced. The references used are reliable, reputable sources. The article does not, however, cover any of Wikipedia's equity gaps. This article lacks gender aspects of culture and I would incorporate this to explain how culture also influences social constructs.
