The International ACM Conference on Automotive User Interfaces and Interactive Vehicular Applications ('AutomotiveUI) is a series of academic conferences in the intersection between automotive research and human-computer interaction. AutomotiveUI is the premier conference in this special segment (#ref missing).
AutomotiveUI has been held annually since 2009 (biannully Europe and US). Since 2017 [1] the conference is hosted by the ACM SIGCHI. In 2020, due to COVID-19, the conference was held fully virtual for the first time. AutomotiveUI 2021 will be held in South Korea, general chairs (#misssing).
History
[edit]The AutomotiveUI conference series started in 2009 in Duisburg-Essen, Germany with about 40 attendees and was organized by Albrecht Schmidt Albrecht Schmidt. ... Over the years, AutomotiveUI has grown in popularity.
