The first edition of his first book "My American Experience" was published in 2013, exactly one year after his solo debut art exhibition, Honoring Our Fathers, dedicated to his late father.

Alex’s artistic path began early and evolved through diverse pursuits in literature, music, and the sciences. As a young tenor, he toured Europe with gospel vocal groups Voice of Hope and Advent Singers. He holds a degree in Archival Science, speaks four languages fluently, and has worked in institutions ranging from the United Nations to the Montel Williams Show to local health clinics in New Jersey. A longtime member of the Hudson Artists of New Jersey, Alex served as its final president and graphic designer. He opened his own studio in 2011 and has been actively exhibiting since. His works have been honored with awards and displayed in public institutions including Jersey City Hall and the Bayonne Library.

Since 2011, Alex works in his own Art Studio. He has published both poetry and prose in Polish and English, including in Polish Daily News and OutStretch Magazine. In 2003, he received the Editor’s Choice Award from the International Library of Poetry.

Alex's first oil painting created in 1984 was featured at the City Hall Rotunda of Jersey City during a group exhibit organized by The Hudson Artists of New Jersey in May 2001. A group exhibit under same patronage in Bayonne Public Library Gallery (2003) featured artist's "Little Insurgent of Warsaw" (oil), which was awarded an "Honorable Mention in Oils".

In 2012 Alex had his first solo début art exhibition "Honoring Our Fathers" in 32 Jones Gallery in Jersey City, dedicated by the artist to his father.

In 2013 Alukotron published two books: "My American Experience" and "Peregrination - A book of poetry"[2].

In 2020 author published the second expanded edition and subsequently the third revised edition of "My American Experience".

A passionate advocate for civil and human rights, Alex supports Amnesty International, the ACLU, and the NAACP. He has lived in the United States since 1990 and currently resides in Union City, New Jersey.

In 2025 he published the fifth and final Edition of "My American Experience" [3] making it his main literary work that offers readers an intimate look at the intersection of personal history, art, and the pursuit of justice in contemporary America.

Blending family stories, lived experiences, and sharp cultural critique, My American Experience explores themes of identity, spirituality, resilience, and the transformative power of love and creativity. With a unique voice that is both deeply personal and universally resonant, the author challenges readers to reflect on the state of society and their place within it.

This book is more than just my story,” says Lutomirski-Kolacz. “It’s a mirror held up to America itself — its struggles, contradictions, and possibilities for change.

The same year he also published "The Greatest Taboo"[4], its Spanish version "El Gran Tabu"[5], a dystopian story called "Where the Voices Once Roared"[6], and recently published sequel to this story "Where the Shadows Roamed"[7].

Lutomirski also authored a dissertation "A Peace Bought with Poland: How the Partitions Functioned as a Delay Mechanism for a General European War 1768-1914"[8]

In the main thesis of his dissertation, he argues that the partitions of Poland operated as a multi-decade “pressure-release” that redistributed risk and rewards among Prussia, Austria, and Russia, delaying a general great-power war to the age of mass nationalism—thereby making the eventual conflict (WWI) far more catastrophic.

Among peers, Alex is known as a Renaissance Man—though he humbly describes himself as “a constant work in progress.” His fans call him an artist with the power to break down any clichés and schematic human minds—whether through image, voice, or vision.
