Eldridge Hardie (February 6, 1940 - August 11, 2021) was an American landscape artist, specializing in sporting art. His paintings and pencil drawings spanned subjects from angling to waterfowling, upland hunting, and sporting dogs.

Biography

Eldridge Hardie was born on a small ranch near Boerne, Texas in 1940 and grew up in El Paso. In 1964 he graduated first in his class with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Fine Art at Washington University in Saint Louis. He made Denver his home from 1966 until his death in 2021.
