Brief Introduction

[edit]

On 13 September 2003, Sedaya International College was awarded the University College status by the Ministry of Education and became known as UCSI. This is a landmark achievement for an institution of higher learning that made its mark as a provider of higher education in Malaysia

Established since 1986, UCSI is amongst the few Malaysian private colleges to offer a wide spectrum of academic studies ranging from Engineering to Information Technology and Business, Applied Sciences to Pharmacy and Medicine, Social Science to Music.

Today, UCSI offers its own university honours degrees in the above disciplines, and upon completion of these degrees students may transfer to a internationally recognised university for postgraduate studies. UCSI degrees can also allow student transfers to other foreign universities for completion of the undergraduate degree. UCSI degrees are moderated by the University of East London, acting in the capacity of external examiner.

UCSI is strategically located in Taman Connaught, Cheras, some 10 km South oft of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Thus, students have convenient access to banks, financial institutions, eateries, transportation services, entertainment, and accommodation.
