Aquatic Succession Article Evaluation

[edit]

Evaluating Content

[edit]

The information in the article is all relevant to the listed topic, however, much of it uses jargon and is inaccurate at best with word choice ("... melting into the ground... disappearing into limbo."). It discusses the entire process of a glacier drying up as aquatic succession, when only the drying of the left behind lake is considered aquatic succession. The article does link to other articles, but could use more cross-links as more relevant information is added.

Evaluating Tone

[edit]

The article is mostly neutral, with only a few statements of information. The minor source of bias should be from the last two sentences about where the water goes after the lake dries up, however so little information is given, it is hard to categorize it as biased to either method being more prevalent.

Evaluating Sources

[edit]

The article on Aquatic Succession does not cite any sources for its information.

Evaluating Talk Page

[edit]

The talk page only has one comment, one that designates it as a Wiki Education Assignment. It is a part of the Geology WikiProject, and is rated as a stub-class with low importance.
