The application areas of Camen Chemical additives include the coatings, inks, plastics and oil/gas industries, the manufacture of care products, the manufacture of adhesives and sealants and construction chemistry.

Camen Chemical Additives employs approximately 300 people worldwide, of which approximately 260 work in China. According to company data, the annual growth rate of performance is close to 20%, with about 90% of sales coming from China, the South East Asian market[1].

History:

In 1998, Zhu Shijun established a chemical company in Foshan, China, where he initially developed coatings additives, the first echelon of additive research and development in China. in 2000, the company built a modern factory covering more than 50 acres in Nanxiong, Guangdong Province, and established Camen Chemical; it then went into the international route by acquiring Taiwan's You Dong International Chemical. more than 20 years have passed, and Camen Chemical has a strong relationship with the country's chemical colleges and chemical research institutes across the country.

To date, with world-class production facilities and laboratory equipment, Camen Chemical has innovated and optimised over thirty application series and over two hundred products through a team of over 20 technical R&D engineers led by Dr. Camen Chemical, covering almost every additive required for coatings and inks in the world.

Camen Chemical invests approximately 7% of its turnover in research and development each year - which is more than double the usual amount invested in the industry. This may have something to do with the fact that the founder came from a research and development background, and his company is known for its strong focus on product innovation and quality.
