I added a citation to the end their conservation portion to direct people to the IUNC website and I added a little more about what IUNC is. I also added the following to the "conservation" section of the Sequoioideae article:

I added a statement to the end of a sentence on the “description” portion of the article

Conservation
[edit]

Conservation of Redwood trees is beyond their economic and aesthetic benefits they provide to humans. They hold cultural significance to indigenous tribes, participate in intricate nutrient and water processes, and provide homes for endemic species.[1] For example, the canopy layer that exists in old growth forests is difficult to replicate in younger tree communities therefore their steady disappearance has irreversible impacts.[1]

The IUNC or The International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Red List of Threatened Species was established in 1964. Over the decades it has evolved to become a dependable source of extinction rates of animals, fungi and plants used by government agencies, conservation organizations, students, educational organizations, and many more. [2]

These trees can live for thousands of years and can grow up to 325 feet.[3]
