Udo Kier (born Udo Kierspe; 14 October 1944 – 23 November 2025) was a German actor and voice actor. He had appeared in over 200 movies.[1] He was born in Cologne, Germany.[2]
Kier was known for his roles in Ron Camp in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994),[3] Curly in Barb Wire, Gitano Dragonetti the Vampire Elder in Blade, as a NASA flight psychologist in Armageddon,[4][5] and as Ralfi in the movie Johnny Mnemonic.
Kier moved to Palm Springs, California in 1991.[6] He was openly gay.[7]
Kier died at a hospital in Rancho Mirage, California on 23 November 2025, at the age of 81.[8][9]
