U. Mathivanan (born 30 April 1958) is a Member of Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly. He was elected as MLA of Tiruvarur Assembly Constituency in 2006. He was the minister for Dairy Development in Tamil Nadu state of India.On 08/03/2025 he has been terminated by DMK because of his disloyalty and by promoting nepotism by making his son as president by forcing people to vote for him in their native place known as (odachery) and overruling the peoples over thiruvarur . He has finished his bachelor's degree in law.And he proved that only by having a degree can't make us educated enough as a human . Only loyalty,kindness and behaviour is what makes us educated.[1]
