Are you trying to import the template to another wiki? If so, have you checked if there's an easy-import version at the Templates Wiki? --YodinT 18:52, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, would I need to delete the templates I've already imported somehow? Runefire3 (talk) 20:21, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Almost fixed, I figured out i was missing ParserFunctions. The example renders fine but without a hide/show button. Runefire3 (talk) 20:42, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Beyond the scope of this page, but it might be a CSS issue? --YodinT 21:01, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request to complete RfD nomination

[edit]

Template:Chart has been listed at Redirects for discussion (nomination), but it was protected, so it could not be tagged. Please add:

The template should be reverted to the previous version, as most of the pages are in complete chaos! Thank you.--Lasha-george (talk) 12:28, 8 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, oops. See Aaron#Family tree for an example. @Paine Ellsworth? — Qwerfjkltalk 17:08, 8 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
See my sandbox! Too chaos... Everything was in order yesterday. Please return to the initial version (See: Template:Chart: Revision history). If there is a review and it is expected to redirect or create another page or similar, Okey and if not I will return to the initial version! Lasha-george (talk) 20:13, 8 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have a problem when I add too many people in the same generation. The names become squeezed into multiple lines, and so the tree as a whole becomes taller. How can I make the tree scrollable left to right instead? Surtsicna (talk) 08:01, 16 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

An update from the Hebrew wiki

[edit]

Hi everyone,

I would like to update you that I have created a visual alternative for this template in the Hebrew wiki. It has some aesthetic advantages and more functionality, but the main thing is that it is much easier to edit. Since it is visual, one can move entire regions of the diagram in a single cut-and-paste operation, and there is no need to count cells. I would be happy to help translate this to English if there is a local editor who is interested. Here is the link to the tool:

and here are some examples:
