Template talk:NowCommonsThis
Appearance
This dosen't appear to link the page anywhere so that it can be identified for deletion. How do these pages get deleted? Cacophony 03:57, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
- So does that mean that I need to go through the IFD process, or will adding this template eliminate the need to nominate it for deletion? If I still need to list it at IFD, then what is the purpose for this template? Cacophony 00:27, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
Shouldn't this be devalued?
[edit]The way I see it, usage of this template denotes that there are two copies of the same picture, one on Commons and one on Wikipedia itself. If that is true, then shouldn't the admins be deleting all of these pictures and having them simply come from/point to Commons instead? (If this is wrong, then ignore this.) - Hbdragon88 04:54, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- The point of this template is to identify images on Wikipedia and the Commons which are the same, and have the same filenames, so that admins can delete the Wikipedia copy. ~MDD4696 03:46, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
