Rehab
[edit]Should there be some sort of symbol added to indicate that a player is on Major League Rehab or doesn't it matter. Jc121383 (talk) 01:29, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think it matters--chances are they'll only be on it for a few days. Mackensen (talk) 02:35, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, I think their should be a symbol for rehab assignments.. it will probably be used more often than the suspended list. Spanneraol (talk) 23:43, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
DL
[edit]I have tweaked the template to allow for both 7 day and 60 day DL. I checked all of the rosters using this template and could not find any of them that were using the Disabled parameter, so I think that this will not cause any negative impact. --After Midnight 0001 00:45, 14 July 2013 (UTC)
Fork of Template for MLB Draft League
[edit]MLB Draft League teams use a different URL for their roster pages, though currently, the MiLB.com url still forwards. Since that continuing to be true is not guaranteed, should we fork the template to create one that provides the correct URL for Draft League teams? Squishymage42 (talk) 17:46, 13 June 2025 (UTC)
Two-Way Players
[edit]I was wondering if we could make a section for two-way players like with the MLB one with Ohtani. There are more and more TWP being drafted by teams. Also maybe add a Taxi Squad designation since some teams are listing those as well. Anyone's thoughts? BavariatoTexas (talk) 00:23, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
- Are any milb rosters listing players as two-way players like the dodgers roster lists Ohtani? I'd say no on taxi squad since that's not an actual designation on the minor league rosters. Spanneraol (talk) 00:30, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
- No, the problem is there is no section on MiLB.com for TWPs. For example, the Rangers just drafted Josh Owens and it lists him as a TWP in the draft tracker and his minors profile. It also lists in the transaction log that he was assigned to the ACL. But when you look at the roster he is nowhere to be seen. I don't know if I should list him as a Infielder or Pitcher? BavariatoTexas (talk) 01:14, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
- He should be listed at whatever position the team roster lists him as.. the ACL Rangers dont list him on the roster yet so he shouldn't be listed.. he was likely assigned to the spring training site but not to the ACL roster yet. Spanneraol (talk) 02:01, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
