I just encountered a student here doing a reaction using SeO2. In her NMR tube a red solid appeared, which apparently is the precipitating selenium ("red amorphous solid" forming in the reaction as noted in OrgSyn; I incorporated the info now in selenium dioxide). This box does not include that info, and I'm not sure how (and if) to incorporate it into the box. Someone? --Dirk BeetstraTC16:49, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If ever 685°C equals 958K or 1265°F, then 221°C equals 494K or 429.8°F instead of 430°F, so now I would like to replace "430°F" with "429.8°F" in the infobox of Selenium 117.208.13.165 (talk) 07:48, 16 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
