Editprotect This template needs an Rcat. Please add the following Rcat:

When finished, the code should look just like the following:

#REDIRECT Template:DocumentationR from template shortcut

(There should be no space between the Redirect link and the Rcat.)

Seems like I spend half my time on Wikipedia thanking you, TheDJ. And thank you for this edit, too!

Template-protected edit request on 26 February 2020

[edit]

Please change categorization of this redirect to mimic the target template:

Not done: it's not normal to duplicate the categories on redirects. Is there any specific reason you think you should be done here? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 11:52, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@MSGJ: Template:Doc should not be part of Category:Wikipedia formatting and function templates, which is for templates like Bg-orange, NOTOC, and Gbmaprim. —andrybak (talk) 11:59, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, and I've removed both of those categories, which are not usually populated by redirects — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 12:47, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@MSGJ: hmm, for some reason Template:Doc is now part of Category:Wikipedia fully protected pages, even though it is template-protected both for move and editing. —andrybak (talk) 13:01, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well spotted. I have reported this issue at Template talk:Redirect category shell — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:08, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
