Better documentation
Could someone please show an example of this template in action? D O N D E groovily Talk to me 05:14, 8 February 2012 (UTC) Never mind, I figured it out and did it myself. D O N D E groovily Talk to me 05:34, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
Bot broken?
Is this template currently working? CapnPrep (talk) 07:39, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- Are the symptoms the same as those described at Template talk:Cite doi#DOI bot not working? If so, this is almost certainly the same issue as reported at User talk:Citation bot/Archive1#403: User account expired. --Redrose64 (talk) 12:55, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- That was the problem, but now the problem is that the bot can't retrieve the citation data from JSTOR, either with {{Cite jstor}} or {{Cite doi}}. The bot output has the errors "Populating from JSTOR database: records obtained. not found in JSTOR?" and "No CrossRef record found :-(". The JSTOR and dx.doi.org links temporarily inserted in place of the full citation click to the right articles. Here are some examples. CapnPrep (talk) 13:53, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
- Not many people watch this page; and I don't know how the bot works. It might be best if you posted a message on the bot operator's talk page; point them here if you like. --Redrose64 (talk) 14:54, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
