Album chart usage - Category
[edit]When adding an album chart template to a page, it automatically creates an album chart usage category for that country. However, when you have to manually add a chart like Billboard peaks from Wayback, if the previous link was dead, this removes the album chart usage from the category. So on saying this, is it ok to manually add album chart usages (for Billboard200, ect) through Hotcat? Majash2020 (talk) 04:56, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Majash2020: Sorry for the late response, but for the sake of posterity, no, it is not OK. These are maintenance categories which should only be added automatically. Muhandes (talk) 08:39, 15 January 2025 (UTC)

Replace the link to Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique (a redirect) with a direct link to SNEP (the actual article). ~ IvanScrooge98 (talk) 16:05, 11 March 2025 (UTC)

As per MOS:ITALICS and WP:CS1, the website in a reference must be italicized. For all the automatic references, such as the UK charts, please italicize the website. Lazman321 (talk) 21:46, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Many publications are already italicized. Please be explicit about the exact changes you want. – Jonesey95 (talk) 22:14, 8 May 2025 (UTC)

Please add the following chart.
| GermanyPop = {{!}} German Pop Albums ([[GfK Entertainment charts|Offizielle Top 100]]){{#if: {{{3|}}} | {{#tag:ref|{{cite news|url={{{url}}}|title={{{title}}}|location={{#if:{{{location|}}}|{{{location}}}}}|work={{#if:{{{work|}}}|{{{work}}}}}|page={{#if:{{{page|}}}|{{{page}}}}}|date={{#if:{{{date|}}}|{{{date}}}}}|publisher={{#if:{{{publisher|}}}|{{{publisher}}}}}|access-date={{#if:{{{access-date|{{{accessdate|}}}}}}|{{{access-date|{{{accessdate}}}}}}}}}}}} | {{#tag:ref|[https://www.offiziellecharts.de/pop-details-{{{id}}} "Offiziellecharts.de – {{{artist}}} – {{{album}}}"] (in German). Not done: please make your requested changes to the template's sandbox first; see WP:TESTCASES. – Jonesey95 (talk) 23:51, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Jonesey95 Checked on the sandbox. It works perfectly (checked on a random article). It just needs an additional line below:
- {{!}}align="center"{{!}}{{{2}}}
- Hopefully you can fulfill my request now. Thanks. Bedivere (talk) 01:11, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
