Template:USL provides wikilinks to the articles on the five senior men's and women's soccer leagues organised by the United Soccer League, in the style of the league's respective logos (pictured at right). It has two parameters. The first parameter is used to control two {{Switch}} parser functions that dictate the colour of the box, and the text inside it, respectively. The five inputs for this parameter and their output are as follows:

The second parameter is used to either remove the wikilink altogether (input {{USL|S|nolink}}), or to remove the 0.2em of padding on the to pop the box added by default to make table rows using this template horizontally symmetrical (input {{USL|S|nopad}}), or both (input {{USL|S|nopad nolink}} in that order). It achieves this through a number of {{ifeq}} parser functions.
