Template:OpenSanctions displays an external link to a page at OpenSanctions, an open database of sanctions and persons of interest data is intended for use in the external links section of an article of organisaions.

Using Wikidata
[edit]Generally, Wikidata should contain article subjects' OpenSanctions IDs in property LittleSis organization ID (P3393), allowing the ID parameter to be omitted:

If the Wikidata property is not defined, the output is:
- String Module Error: Target string is empty OpenSanctions/doc on OpenSanctions, an open database of sanctions and persons of interest data
