Template:Notebox/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This template creates an invisible box, in which notes can be placed, and a footnote line for a visual separation from the previous content.

Usage

[edit]

The Notebox template creates the footnote line for visual separation – a line 8 rem long with a height/ width of 1px – and an indentation of 0.6rem. This is intended and recommended only for local notes or brief references.

{{notebox
| source = Optional sources or references
| note = Required content (text, bullet points, or templates like {{reflist}})
| type = Set to '''reflist''' or '''notelist''' if the note contains local footnotes
}}

Parameters

[edit]
  • source – (optional) A short source label shown above the line.
  • note – (required)* The main content, shown below the line. Can include lists, text, or footnote-related templates.
  • type – (optional) Use reflist or notelist to automatically add a ;Notes heading when displaying local footnotes.
