Link to Greek text of Aristophanes' The Knights at the Perseus Project by line number. Adding the last line in a range does not change the link URL, since pages on Perseus include a set number of lines.

Normally the template does not give the name of the author and play.

{{Knights}}	→	1	default line = 1
{{Knights|2}}	→	2	line set
{{Knights|2|3}}	→	2–3	line range set

Placing ref in any parameter except the first makes the template give the name of the author and play.

{{Knights|2|3}}	→	Aristophanes, The Knights 2–3

Placing shortref in any parameter produces a shortened version, for cases in which the template is used in multiple refs.
