Template:Interwiki copy/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Interwiki copy.
It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template may be used to give attribution for text copied from other Wikimedia Foundation projects.

Usage

Place the following code near the top of the talk page of the English page:

{{Interwiki copy|url=|title=}}

After url=, place the permanent URL of the Wikimedia Foundation project page you are using.
After title=, place the exact name of the original page.

Don't forget to add a dummy edit in the article to fix attribution problems. For example, for content copied from English-Wiki:

Content copied from [[En:Wikipedia]]; see that page's history for attribution
