All parameters are optional.

Images

Can be repeated two more times by appending 2 or 3 to the parameter name.

name: Name of the tool
image: An image illustrating the item
image_size: Size of image in pixels. Deprecated per WP:THUMBSIZE; please use |image_upright= instead.
image_upright: Relative size of the image. Set |image_upright=yes for portrait-oriented images, or a value greater than or less than |upright=1 to customize.
title: Title of the image (mouseover text)
alt: Alt text for the image; will show up as mouse-over text if title parameter is not used
caption: Caption for the image above

Fields

other_name: Other name(s) used for this item
classification: General type, e.g. hand tool, power tool, garden tool, etc.
uses: What is this item used for, e.g. cutting, concentrating force, guiding, protecting, seizing and holding, etc.
types: Different types of this tool, e.g. hammer = ball-peen hammer, cross-peen hammer, etc.
used_with: Tools that this one is used in conjunction with, e.g. hammer + chisel, punc, etc.
inventor: Inventor(s) of the item (if any)
manufacturer: If this is an item specific to a particular manufacturer, put the name here
model: if this is a particular manufacturer's model, put the model name or number here
related: related tools, e.g. hammer = axe, maul, etc.
