Template:Infobox station/Header GR
![]() | This template uses Lua: |
This template implements custom headers for the infoboxes of all railway, metro and tram stations in Greece.
Presently, the headers cannot be integrated into {{#invoke:Adjacent stations}}, due to the lack of support for Greek over English, variable backgrounds, outer borders, conditional icons, and conditional line colours.
Usage
{{Infobox station/Header GR

Mode values
|mode=
and |mode_2=
supports the following values, but |mode_2=
will not work unless |mode=
is set:

The system icon for Thessaloniki Metro was added in November 2024, but is currently unused in practice because New Railway Station and Thessaloniki railway station have their own articles.
In accordance with the situation on the ground, transit symbols (mode
and mode_2
) should be avoided on Athens and Thessaloniki Metro stations, except for:
- Multimodal interchanges with a common name and article (e.g. Neos Kosmos and Piraeus in Athens)
- Athens Metro Line 3 between Pallini and Koropi
The logo of Hellenic Train should not be used because they do not operate stations, similar to Renfe in Spain.
Stripe values
|line=
and |line_2=
supports the following values. There is no stripe for Athens Suburban Railway stations from Acharnes Railway Center to Chalcis.
Mode | Value | Colour | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Athens Metro, Line 1 | AM1

Athens Metro, Line 4 | AM4

Athens Suburban Railway Piraeus to the Airport, except Athens |

This template automatically sets the stripe to #00A3E0 if |name=Athens .

Athens Tram | AT

|
The line colours are similar to the Athens Metro.[1] TM12 sets the stripe to red/blue, according to signage inside stations such as Dimokratias (example):[2] the template rejects TM12 as a bottom stripe, because it uses inset drop shadows to achieve the dual-line effect.

Technical information
The mode icons will not appear in hard copies or mobile versions of articles that use this header: the former is to conserve printer ink, and the latter is to improve navigation on small screens.
History
This template replaced {{Infobox station/Header OASA}} in June 2023, ahead of the opening of the Thessaloniki Metro on 30 November 2024.
