This template uses the Wikidata property:
The {{Goodreads author}} template is a convenience template used to create an external link to an author at Goodreads. Its use makes linking to Goodreads cleaner and more uniform.
Usage
[change source]If no second parameter (or no |name= parameter) is specified then {{PAGENAME}}, the name of the article, is used for the title of the link (see first example). If the name of the article is unsuitable (e.g., "Michael Grant (young adult author)") then a second parameter (or |name= parameter) can be specified.
