This template is a customized wrapper for {{Emoji}}. Any field from {{Emoji}} can work so long as it is added to this template first. Questions? Just ask at Template talk:Emoji.

Wrapper template for Template:Emoji that by default sets |theme=none, which makes it output Unicode emoji characters directly rather than images.

Note: this also "inverts" Template:Emoji's way of treating an unnamed parameter if given. This wrapper maps |1= to the |name= argument instead of to |hex=. This lets you do like so: {{Emoji raw|grin}} without putting |name= (though passing |name= still works as well). To pass in a hexadecimal character value, use the |hex= named parameter.
