First People's Assembly
[edit]It looks as if a whole lot of content has been moved out of this article, rendering the redirect to it from First Peoples' Assembly useless. Safes007, would you please work out where this information should go - perhaps in a new article? - and deal with it, please, as you removed it? This is quite a significant body, especially with the new treaty legislation and the body's name change. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 07:57, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- I clarified the scope of this article and fixed the redirect of First Peoples' Assembly to go to First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria. The First Peoples' Assembly could be mentioned on either or both of this article, the Parliament of Victoria article or the Politics of Victoria article depending on the Assembly’s powers and its relationship to the parliament/executive (I'm not familiar with how it will work). - Okay, thanks - in my haste last night I did not find that whole article. I have just added a bit of history (per existing source) to this article, and a bit that links to the parliamentary houses, and added the First People's Assembly as a See also, just in case anyone comes looking for it here.
