Recommending deletion
[edit]This page was originally created as a redirect in 2010 to a page discussing Unix time, possibly correcting an error. I am the creator of the web page date (Unix command) which I was surprised that no-one had previously thought to create.
I have my doubts as to whether deleting this page will break anything, and I suspect that if this page is deleted a search will lead to the Unix date command page. Therefore cautiously I am recommending that the disambiguation is unnecessary and that the page be deleted. Feel free to argue for or against. GelvinM (talk) 22:22, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hi GelvinM, I think that maintaining the redirect and tagging with {{R from incorrect name}} is fine in this case. It is common practice to have frequently used misspellings or incorrect names as redirects as long as they are adequately tagged. Let me know if you'd like to disuss further.
