Unless I'm missing something, there should be a Jalagi unicode page, so this one should remain.
Obviously, there is information needed about Unicode, in the general community of those who compute and are interested in the Cherokee language.
There could be:
1. a description of the Unicode characters that represent Cherokee
2. what is the least-terrible method to enter the syllabary via keyboard
3. if there are more than one unicode Cherokee screen fonts, how they compare. I'm using one right now (Linux Fedora Core 4) that surprised me by showing it at all, but does a bad job on LA, for example (it should be a straight-up "W").
4. Transliteration utilities if existing to move between the Ssiqoya character set and romanized versions, in both directions. If no good ones exist, I plan to write programs to do this. Also, sooner or later, there must be methods to go between unicode encoding and the official CNO encoding (unless that policy of CNO gets changed).
5. Other topics and means discussed -- how to lessen the unavoidably high burden of those who might have something to contribute.
I am relatively new to Wikipedia AND to Wiki-qui-diya, and therefore don't know how to sign things properly, and don't have time right now to make an account. So, with apology for any protocol violation, I am rdflowers@flowerscomputing.com.
