Why does this article exist?

[edit]

Am I missing something here - why does this article exist? It seems to be based entirely on a small number of published papers, none of which have been widely cited. The material in this page appears to have been lifted from those papers, and is not accessible to a wider audience. The other citations here are base entirely off the same published papers. The idea may have some merit in the future, but I don't see how at this stage it merits a Wikipedia article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.179.163.70 (talk) 15:12, 19 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Its design is sufficient different and complex to require detailed explanation. The problem is it's a brand name rather an appropriate technological term. The name is also misleading as some kind of superior RAM design. Despite superior abilities it is still a flash memory design which has nowhere the same lifetime as DRAM. explaining the memory concept

[edit]

if someone could explain the memory concept and working of the device in a less technical and more readable and understandable way, your help would be very appreciated. thanks Avast rumali (talk) 09:42, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Failure rates should be added to give a better picture for comparison of the technology. Mightyname (talk) 19:00, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Which "flash" do you mean?

[edit]

Quote: "endurance up to 1,000 times greater than flash" Which "flash" do you mean? NOR or NAND (SSD)? 85.193.242.48 (talk) 11:15, 26 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to have been an edit made on the article lead by @7804j. Maybe they can provide an explanation or cite the source since the source cited there doesn't seem to mention the endurance. I will be undoing that part of the edit for now. Avast rumali (talk) 06:26, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
