Should this be an article?
[edit]This article was listed on WP:AR1, there is a slight difference betwwen this and Fourier transformation. In that the approximation uses truncated Fourier series. actually when I'm writing this, I begin to disagree with myself. We could also include error estimates and other interessting stuff.
