Quiet Skies

[edit]

I think there's enough for the Quiet Skies (now a redirect here) article now. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:40, 30 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I guess not. There's content in the article now about it, so fine. It will break away if and when appropriate.

ACLU study

[edit]

[1] "In particular, the TSA documents indicate a substantial focus on Arabs, Muslims and Latinos, despite repeated TSA assurances that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) component does not profile travelers based on ethnicity, race or religion." What section should this go in? Benjamin (talk) 19:37, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Logo change

[edit]

Johnstondavidl has recently changed the logo, which was File:Transportation Security Administration logo.svg, from the entire logo to just the seal with no explanation was given. In my opinion there is no reason to change the logo to the only the seal. We have the entire logos for most other DHS agencies, why should TSA be any different? I also can't seem to find a source that uses this version. I have reverted the logo back to what it was prior to their edits – File:Transportation Security Administration logo.svg. Corky 18:41, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I also have potential concerns of a possible conflict of interest between the user and the TSA. Corky 18:51, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As of yesterday, June 4th, it looks like the logo/seal change is official. If you visit tsa.gov, the wordmark logo has been replaced with the seal.--TUFKAAP (talk) 19:13, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The popularity of the 2024 film Carry-On suggests that it should be referenced in this article somehow, but I don't usually edit articles about government agencies, so I'm not sure if a "popular culture" section is considered appropriate. Carguychris (talk) 16:19, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Illegal surveillance of Tulsi Gabbard by TSA/Homeland Security

[edit]

This true fact has been verified by Rand Paul using actual TSA documents outlining how Gabbard was watched and recorded. 73.45.9.46 (talk) 19:54, 20 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
