There's no obvious reason why this needs the "(BDSM)" disambig so will move to correct location of Total Power Exchange as there is nothing at that title other than a redirect here (WP policy not to have bits on the end where not needed and not part of a project). --Vamp:Willow 11:32, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I agree.. Total power exchange and 24/7 would be the same thing.

Merging?

Regarding merging with 24/7 (BDSM), it would seem to me that's an aspect of TPE and therefore should be a section within here. (Or to put it another way, is there any case where 24/7 lifestyle wouldn't fall under TPE?) -RJFerret 08:14, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The exact definition of TPE doesn't exist, but it is absolutely not the same as 24/7. 24/7 simply means the slave is living as a slave 24 hours a day, rather than merely in the bedroom, or just while at home in private. Although the definition of TPE is argued over, the basic outline is the slave having to obey all orders whatever they may be, even disregarding otherwise hard limits. It is perfectly possible to be 24/7 without TPE and there are many many 24/7 slaves who are like that, it is also possible, to be TPE without being 24/7, although this is rare. 24/7 and TPE should not be merged.
