Talk:System Development Methodology
OBJECTION TO CONTENT OF THIS ARTICLE
[edit]Until the most recent edits, this is a commercial for Cap Gemini's SDM. The term SDM is NOT a proprietary trademark of Cap Gemini, and certainly is a phrase referring to a whole universe of system development methodologies.
I recommend strongly that the entire discussion of PANDATA's SDM be moved to an independent article called something like PANDATA SDM or Cap Gemini SDM. But certainly not dominating the whole article on the subject! (Albert F. Case, Jr.)
Parts of my latest update have been based on the Dutch Wikipedia page. It has been removed from the External Links/Source section because it also appears in the other languages section. My apologies if it shouldn't be that way. Joeno 13:07, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
SDM2 merge-in
[edit]The SDM2 article appears to be a complete copy of the SDM page apart from one paragraph on the differences. It would seem better to merge these two.Rich257 19:57, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
Redirect to Software development methodology
[edit]I have redirected this article to Software development methodology, because this article had multiple purposes:
- a general explainantion of system development methodology
- a particular presentation of the Pandata SDM method
Both where hardly developed here and unreferenced. I think the current article was only confusing. Now I don't oppose a specific article about SDM like the Dutch article, but it should have some sever content first. -- Marcel Douwe Dekker (talk) 16:02, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
