Advertisement by Ict, inc. ?

I came here by way of the article Ruby, which I reached from Verneuil process. At first I started editing to begin the {{wikify}} process. Then I was struck by how little attempt was made to relate this article to other articles/topics. *Then* I saw the advertisement at the end (see Talk:Ict, inc.). *Then* I was dumbfounded by the sentence:

There are a number of methods utilized to make synthetic ruby.

Well, gee, that's how I got here, from one of those methods, one of many, that can be used to make Synthetic ruby. Which deserve concrete mention by larger description and links. Going back to that article demonstrates the rather large gap between where this one is and where it should be.
