Intended as a summary of the technological aspects, and how strong AI could be produced/what it would be like The preceding unsigned comment was added by Crippled Sloth (talk • contribs) .

Ive now realised that there is another article called strong AI. Looking at it, it seems that the other is about the philosophy whilst the one i started is concerned with the technology involved, and a summary of existing futurist predictions. Ill change the title to reflect this if someone shows me how. Btw, if a technological singularity article is ok, how come this is too speculative? Crippled Sloth 15:08, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There's nothing wrong with discussing published predictions of well-known authors, provided that they are treated as such; the technological singularity article does precisely that. It's a very subtle (but important!) distinction: the predictions and beliefs themselves should be the focus, rather than the things they predict. —donhalcon 17:03, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
