Merge with function stack
[edit]I think this is probably a good idea. Someday, if someone else doesn't do it first, I'll edit function stack to have the information that isn't redundant. Omnifarious 04:10, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
- I could see it either way - one article or two - but having one might help avoid accidental redundancy. Deco 04:35, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
I'm in favor, and think everything should go to function stack — the stack frame is part of the function stack. --Mgreenbe 23:08, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
I'm in favor of deleting this article. It provides almost nothing that is not already covered in Stack (data structure), and it is also far too specific to a particular programming environment (namely, C). Agateller 14:07, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- That would mean just plain redirecting to call stack; that sounds fine to me, so I'll do that. We can add information on stack frames and what variously goes in them on that page. Cheers! --Mgreenbe 20:04, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
