Expert attention needed
[edit]- The use of Gumbel distribution here dosn't accord with Gumbel distribution, which is max-stable
- Extreme value distribution redirects to generalized extreme value distribution which is there denoted by "GEV" and has three parameters.
- Need to include the exponential distribution as an important example of a min-stable distribution.

Weibull distribution
[edit]The notation is not absolutely uniform so I cannot be sure, but it seems that the stability for the Weibull distribution holds for the minimum (rather than the maximum), and with b_n=0 (rather than a_n=1). A word on switching minimum and maximum is also in order. עוזי ו. (talk) 13:37, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
