Three articles?

Samo, Samo's Empire and now Samo's rebellion seems like too many articles given the dearth of primary source information. Yes, lots has been written about this topic, but does it need spreading out across three articles? Srnec (talk) 17:45, 18 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. At least two of the articles—Samo and Samo's rebellion—could be merged without much difficulty. As far as I remember, several aspects of Samo's realm are heavily discussed by scholars, so it might make sense to keep a separate article focused on the polity itself, including its territory, society, political system, and relations with other states. This can be done. There could simply be a separate section for the rebellion with the same content there is already in here. Stenka Razin article has a separate section related to Stepan Razin Rebellion on with the infobox and all other information about the rebellion. StephanSnow (talk) 04:11, 29 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
