Load Number as something that never caught on for residential customers in Canada?
[edit]I was born in the mid 80s, I've never lived outside of Ontario, Canada, and I've never heard of LN (Load Number) ratings, even if the term does appear in search results like https://www.doorking.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/1835-065-Q-3-24_80_Series.pdf
As a kid on the autism spectrum who went so far as to send away for marketing materials for networking gear and actually knew the term "POTS", it was always REN that I encountered on the bottom of the phones in our house and in the materials I read.
In addition to the general need for a citation, I think there also should be some kind of citation for how prevalent the use of LN ratings was in Canada at which points in history. SSokolow (talk) 05:38, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
