[edit]There is not enough information for anyone who is not an algebraic loop expert to understand anything about this entry. It needs more generalized information about what some of the following:
- What is an open problem?
- What is loop theory?
- Why is this problem important?
- What is an odd order?
- What is a trivial nucleus?
- Why is it called Phillips' Problem?
- What are the difficulties in finding a solution to the problem (assuming that it hasn't been solved. If it has been solved, what is the solution?)
