Talk:Order-7 pentagonal tiling

Subject of deletion
[edit]Good morning/evening, to whomever may read it (i.e. the person, hopefully, pinged), I noticed that the article in question was removed on the grounds of notability as displayed here (not independently notable, no sources that provide significant coverage of this specific tiling as distinct from any other regular hyperbolic tiling). Could any further explanation be brought into light, as I do not fully comprehend the ruling here at hand.

- @Notsam1 Wikipedia's notability standards, WP:N, ask that the subject of each article be covered, in significant depth, in multiple independent published sources. Significant depth could be achieved by an article entirely about this tiling, or it could be achieved by a publication on a broader topic that devotes a page to this specific tiling and the properties and uses that it might have that set it aside from the other ones. But it is not achieved by sources that mention this tiling only as a line in a table or that do not mention it at all, instead only covering more general classes of tiling that include this one. So where is that in-depth coverage of this specific tiling? —David Eppstein (talk) 03:19, 7 April 2025 (UTC)
