Greek open access journals

[edit]

A short list of open access journals from Greece was added to this article on 14 April 2018. It was selected from a longer, more comprehensive list based on information cited in DOAJ. -- Oa01 (talk) 07:21, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed text to be added to the "Journals" section of the article: -- Oa01 (talk) 14:20, 30 June 2018 (UTC) [reply]

  • Oppose. To start with, this paragraph starts with several sweeping but unsourced statements (which you already have added verbatim to many other articles of the "OA in ..." series. Who says that it was "many". Who says that the decision was made by the "editorial boards", who says that this was to allow free reuse, who says what their intentions were, etc? Then you give a list, which either is exhaustive and violates WP:NOTADIRECTORY or it is selective and in that case, you need to define the selection criteria and cite your source for that. Repeating the same "reference" to DOAJ is not very helpful. In addition, linking to a site an then instead of a title providing search instructions is really inappropriate. In short, this text is not appropriate and should not be added to the article. --Randykitty (talk) 14:51, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
