Purchase of Z-mail
[edit]The reference to Z-Mail being purchased from NCD is not a complete history. The current text is: "Z-Mail, a cross-platform standards-based email client which was bought from Network Computing Devices"
The NCD product was the e-mail *CLIENT*. The Z-Mail mail server was purchased from a small software company named U.S. Computer Software, and the authoritative reference for this claim is the Netmanage 10-K for 1997: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/909793/0000891618-97-001523.txt
In the section "DOCUMENTS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE" the section "ITEM 1 - BUSINESS" contains the following text: "During 1996, the Company also purchased technology from various parties, including collaborative computing software technology from Applicom Software Industries (1990) Ltd., Z-Mail, an electronic mail and messaging system, from Network Computing Devices, Inc. and gateway and mail server technology from U.S. Computer Software, Inc."
