Merger with Inner class

[edit]

I don’t think it makes sense to have separate articles for these concepts. The concept of “inner class” is a special case of the concept of “nested class”. What’s more, the former is not particularly well-defined, except in the context of Java, where it has a precise technical meaning (an inner class is a non-static nested class [1]).

I might perform this merger if there is agreement. — Daniel Brockman 21:39, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Only problem I can see is that a nested class (in java) is a static inner class, not just a normal inner class. But I think they should be merged nonetheless, so yes, I agree with Daniel. --Pyrofysh 10:31, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
