Founder

Is it appropriate to call John Wesley the founder of the MPC? He died some 30-40 years before it was founded, and whether he'd approve of its separation is, at best, dubious based on what we have from his writings & sermons on schism. Think we should consider attempting to fix some other founders/early leaders in that role, if we absolutely HAVE to have a founder to begin with.
